Great and Little Broughton Parish Council (GBPC) Data Protection Statement

This statement confirms the GBPC commitment to protect your privacy and to process your personal information in a manner which meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and prior to 25 May 2018 the Data Protection Act 1998

Who are we and what do we do

The Parish Council are the only local government tier that represents residents at the parish level and campaign for improvement in and delivery of services supplied by Hambleton District Council and North Yorkshire County Council. Probably the most common topics that GBPH get involved with are planning matters (we are statutory consultees on planning proposals within the parish boundaries), campaigning on road safety and maintenance.

The Parish Council also manage and maintain public open spaces and facilities within the settlement of Great Broughton.

What personal information we may process

Nearly all the data we collect will be because the data subject has accessed the GBPC web site.

We may use this information for the following reasons

To monitor and produce statistics of the number of times the GBPC web site and its content is accessed

What do we not collect

We do not collect names, residential addresses or e mail addresses
